In the footsteps of ancient Yogis: A Yoga Journey to Nepal

start: Apr 5, 2023
end: Apr 15, 2023

According to Yoga philosophy the more you desire to know who you truly are and why you are here having a human experience, the more you will understand that who you really are is more than who you think you are.

My intention for this 10-day journey through the magnificent Kathmandu Valley and the lower Himalayas is to invite us into the exploration of this truth, as we leave behind our modern daily life and habits and the ingrained ideas about ourselves.

To this end, our journey weaves together powerful Yogic practices including asana, meditation & pranayama, with mystical Buddhist and Hindu teachings, and visits to ancient temples and spiritual sites, in the land and culture that helped to write the biography of the Yoga we know today. Just being present in these spaces can be deeply transformative and profoundly moving.

If you feel called, join me for what will be a life-changing journey. We will practice Yoga in a Tibetan monastery and visit the medieval city of Patan. We will trek through otherworldly landscapes at the foot of the Himalayas, and visit the holiest Buddhist and Hindu sites including Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath.

Easter break period specifically and the month of April generally represent the ideal time to visit Nepal, with warm temperatures and higher visibility of the majestic Himalayas!

"I look forward to this very personal experience, as I invite you to share the journey back to Nepal where I have spent two beautiful years of my life." - Dee
